The Future is bright for WCIS...
Future plans are currently being laid out to make WCIS the largest Multi use Motor Sport facility in the upstate area! Offering a multitude of competition and entertainment for all venues of motor sports; Stock cars, Off Road Trucks, Snowmobile Grass Drags / SnoX and more!

Our History...
Originally constructed in 1959 and opened as a dirt track (Perry Speedway) in 1960. By the early 70's the track was paved and the concrete retaining wall constructed. In 1984, the macadam was once again covered with a layer of dirt for a time period of 14 years. In 1998, under new ownership, WCIS returned back to the highly competitive SST asphalt racing surface.

Mini Cups Division - 1/2 scale race cars providing an inexpensive racing experience. Fully adjustable with relatively low maintenance.  Jr. Division 10-14yrs, Sr. Division 15-99yrs   Honda GX 390 4 Stroke, OHV Single Cylinder, Displacement 389 cc, (stock) 13 hp. Check-em-out

WASP Division -  Designed with the intent of allowing rookie drivers from 14-99 years old the opportunity to enjoy the short track racing action on the 1/3rd mile asphalt oval. Completely stock vehicles, prepared with safety guidelines, to help teach driver control. Over-competitive drivers and vehicles will be subject to rule amendments to help equalize the competition. This is a fun class with the thrill of competition.

Street Stock/PureStock Division LMP Rules- A renewed division created for the rear wheel drive, economical racer. restricted to a relatively stock V-8 Engine with full safety in mind. A great way to get started at the BullRing, and still feel the speed and thrill of side by side competition

TQ Midgets Division - Also known as 3/4 Midgets, these machines are guaranteed to thrill the fans with fast paced side by side action. Turing close to record speeds on the 1/3rd mile, the Casey’s Midgets are a definite ‘Must See’ at the BullRing

Super Stocks Division - One of the most highly competitive classes. Designed to simulate the Winston Cup Heroes of the late 70’s and 80’s. The first division of regional short track racing that emulates a true adjustable racing machine. teams are made up of the serious competitor and the entry level novice. SST Modified Division - The SST Modifieds are fast becoming one of the Northeast’s premiere open-wheel divisions. Racing at speeds of just over 100 mph, the thunder of excitement keeps fans glued to the competition. As a leading supporter of the SST Series, WCIS welcomes Series Teams to compete competitively under the same general points & rule system from across the region. Top teams challenge the BullRing on there quest for the overall SST Series Championship. Check it out at

Late Models Division - If you are a fan of NASCAR racing, then the Latemodel division is the division for you. Latemodels closely resemble the current NASCAR racecars. They have a sleek fiberglass or aluminum full body, and a power plant under the hood to thrill our spectators during special events. This division is extremely competitive with numerous drivers representing area race tracks. the who’s who of championship teams!

ROC Modifieds Division - The “Mighty Race of Champion Modifieds”. These Open Wheel machines are the fastest short track cars in the region, at times, clocking speeds on the oval faster than the race cars you watch on TV. Some of the best asphalt drivers around run in the Modified division. WCIS hosts RoC (Race of Champions) Series races currently every Father’s Day (Mid-June). These races draw from a traveling series of competitors, from Whelen Mod Tour reps to the strong local contingent! Don’t miss one of the best races on the tour!

Fan Guide

No Alcoholic Beverages may be brought into the facility. Race fans that consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. All alcohol sales will require a picture id as proof of age. We proudly serve a variety of beer and assorted Wine Coolers. WCIS may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person for any reason, including without limitations, people who appear to be intoxicated. If WCIS staff sees people appearing to be in violation of the alcohol policy and believe them to be acting contrary to the law, we reserve every right to report them to the proper authorities.

No pets allowed within spectator midway or competitors area.

Coolers are permitted to be brought into the track. No alcohol and no glass bottles are permitted. Security guards will examine all coolers, backpacks, bags ect. .

Our novelty booth is located in the main concession area. Were you can check out all our racing fashions and pick up your WCIS t-shirts, hats, key chains, stickers and newly designed Jackets.

In the event of an emergency please notify one of the employees or uniformed security officers in your area.

First Aid:
WCIS employs trained EMTs throughout the facility that will be able to offer both Basic and Advanced life support for both drivers and fans. If you are in need of medical assistance, please contact a member of the WCIS staff or security.

Food and Beverage:
For your convenience we have concession stands conveniently located at the track to serve guests. WCIS specializes in all your favorite “Fair-type” foods, including Coca Cola products, Hot Dogs and Italian Sausage, Pizza, popcorn, nachos, pretzels, ice cream, and more! Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty!

Hospitality/VIP Tent:
WCIS VIP tent is located near turn one of the racetrack and is available for groups and sponsors who purchase one of our many VIP / Hospitality packages.

Gate Times:
Most events should checked out on the schedule for specific race times, but adjustments may be made at any time to more effectively complete special events. SUNDAY racing, Gates open at noon, racing at 2:30pm.   FRIDAY evening events, Gates open at 5pm with racing at 7:30pm. Once racing is completed for the evening, the pits are open to everyone and fans are encouraged to meet their hometown racing heroes up close and personal and receive an autograph or have their photo taken with a favorite driver.

Victory Lane:
In order for you to join a winning driver and his team out in Victory Lane at WCIS, you must be a family member, car sponsor, event sponsor or track sponsor to join the celebration. In Victory Lane, no beverages are allowed. The photographs take time and you must be patient while waiting your turn to be in the picture. Everyone will be included, and we want the celebration to go as smoothly as possible, so the more patient you are the quicker the celebration will go, and we can continue on with the evening’s racing. Track sponsors and event sponsors will be the first to be photographed, followed by a photo of the driver alone in victory lane, followed by group shots. Please remember that Victory Lane is a happy place and rules of good sportsmanship must apply.

Rain Checks:
In the event of inclement weather which may cause the race to be postponed, fans must listen to the announcers to determine the rain policy. It is our goal to make every possible concession to get the race completed. You must keep your ticket stub so that ticket sellers will be able to determine which tickets will be honored as rain checks on the scheduled rain date. You must KEEP YOUR TICKET STUB. A lost rain check is like lost money, anyone can use it. You need to listen to the PA system for announcements as to when the rain date will be and what you should do.

Cameras and video recorders are permitted in the stands. All photographers must be issued race night credentials to be permitted onto the track surface or in Victory Lane. Photographs can be purchased at the track on race day or directly from the WCIS photographers.

Lost and Found:
Any items that are lost will be turned into the main office at the track, which is located right next to concession stand.

Press Box/Media Center/Control Tower:
Only those holding the proper credentials will be allowed to enter the press box/control tower.

Prohibited Items:
To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to WCIS, the following items will be prohibited from the track: Glass Containers, Glass Bottles, Weapons, Illegal Drugs, Fireworks, Alcoholic Beverages... other items that in the judgment of WCIS management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other fans.

If security finds any prohibited items on you before you enter the track, you must return it to your vehicle or discard it. Any unlawful items found will be submitted to the police. If a prohibited item is found once you are inside WCIS, it is subject to confiscation by security.

Restrooms are wheel chair assessable and are located directly behind the main grandstand . . Please help us maintain a clean environment by being courteous and do not purposely make a mess.

WCIS security personnel will be stationed throughout the facility. Should you require assistance, please notify the nearest event staff employee. The appropriate person or agency will be dispatched to your location to assist you.

Our Souvenir program can be purchased at the front gates, Novelty Booth, Pit Concession, or by a program seller that makes their way through the stands throughout the evening. The program details Point Standings, Rosters, Results Stories, Driver Profiles, Trivia and History, Photographs and Racing Supporters. The program is created weekly for up to the minute information.

At WCIS, we have free camping for our guests from far away, or just for those who want to camp overnight. Camping will be available in the main spectators parking area for anyone who wishes to stay the night. Bonfires must be kept to a minimum and be attended at all times.

Behavior Policy:
Here at WCIS we want all fans to have the best experience possible, image will not only be shaped by staff, drivers, and teams, but fans as well. Our goal is to make sure that every fan will enjoy the thrills and fast environment of racing. We feel we have created a safe and supportive environment for participants and continue to strive to maintain a family oriented atmosphere. To ensure that all fans have a pleasant experience at our track, please act responsibly in the stands and be considerate of others. Stay away from the fence at all times, and in the event there is an on track accident, please remain seated and do not make your way down to the crash scene. Security personnel will turn you away because it is dangerous and you do not need to be near the accident scene. The throwing of any objects in the stands will constitute removal from the track. Please be courteous to everyone around you. If you are in the reserved section in the stands or in the tower and there is a problem, notify a WCIS staff member or security so they can handle the situation. The WCIS gate personnel will respond to complaints of misconduct in the stands. Fans who fail to comply with the WCIS policy after being warned will be subject to ejection or possible arrest.
