Who is Jim Majchrzak?

A:

Actually their are two... Father and son, James J. Majchrzak and James E. Majchrzak, partners of the WCIS facility.

Q:

What season was the racing facility opened?

A:

Most records point to the first season to be 1960.

Q:

How old is Jim Jr.?

A:

In short, 28. That's always one year younger then wife Polly who is 29 eternally.

Q:

What other types of motor sports does WCIS host?

A:

OffRoad, Snowmobile Grass Drags/SnoX, Tractor Pulls and soon a Mini-Road Coarse

Q:

What degree bank is the stock car track?

A:

We have always called the turns 14 degrees and the strait-a-ways @ 5 - 10 degrees.

Q:

How big is the track?

A:

A very fast 1/3 mile, now known as the BullRing.

Q:

What significance is that old time, black 14e race car?

A:

The old style race car is a 40 Olds that was built in 11 days for the purpose of a WCIS promotion. Keep watch at local parades and onsite promotions to spot this vintage racer!

Q:

What's with the number 14e that’s on the car?

A:

When Jim Jr’s. Kids were young he make up story's about a little race car with a letter instead of a number and the trouble he would get into, AKA the little e-racer. The kids wanted the Olds pace car to be the e-racer, so they numbered it 14e.

What are some of the future venues of competition for WCIS?

Plans to develop a new 3/4 mile Offroad Coarse are already underway...A mini- road Coarse for Street type racing with a Drift competitions and a 1/5 mile dirt Kart facility!

What's the fastest lap time recorded at the Bullring?

A:

Rumors have it" Bare Foot Bob McCready" holds the fastest time.. but know one knows what it was. The ROC Mods turn about 13.9 and keep getting faster!

Who has the most wins to date at the Bullring?

A:

Tho we don't know, but are open for suggestions..

How can I figure out my mph around the track

Can we have a Company Picnic at the speedway?

A:

Yes, Simply contact WCIS and we can assist you with making all the plans. Full catering is available along with pit tours, photo ops and more...WCIS may even provide a race car to drive on the BullRing !

How can I get into racing?

Visit us at the track on race day...after the show, go to the pits and speak with our teams They are always willing to extend a hand to a new driver or crew member

When do you post weekly point standings?

A:

The point standings are posted as early as Monday night.

Q:

When do you send out press releases?

A:

We make every effort to send those releases out the day after the event.
If it's a Saturday or Sunday race, the release is sent on Monday.

Are there sponsorship opportunities?

A:

Absolutely. We offer a wide array of sponsorship packages tailored to fit your company's needs. No matter how big or how small, there is a program for you with WCIS

Who is allowed in the winners circle?

A:

If your a crew member, sponsor or a family member, we encourage you to go down an be in the photo shoot.

Do you have a weekly e-mail news letter that I can subscribe too?

Not at present, However we post our weekly news here on the site.
