A great show for marketing and exposure

Representatives from Wyoming County International Speedway, Perry NY, visited the MExpo at the NYState Fair Grounds in Syracuse to promote race teams, the NEW 2014 Saturday night venue and event sponsors.

On display was the track Champion of the SST Modified Division, Steve Fuchs and a brand new…old school… 62 Chevy stock car built to promote the VLM Vintage Latemodel division at the WCIS BullRing!

The Asphalt Modified #0 of Fuchs, highlighted the returning sponsor E&E Lawn and Landscape of the Rochester area and New international Team and Track Sponsor, Champion HI-TECH lubricants. Champion Brands manufacturers a huge variety of oil related products for use in performance, fleet and industrial markets.

The 62 Chevy is not only a competitor in the expanding Vintage Stock Car Realm, but also a tool for promoting attention to speedway specialized marketing. In this case, fans were introduced to the marketing of LOCAL 1163, the Brotherhood of Millwrights. The WCIS LaborDay event caters to both Union and non-union companies interested in quality work provided by these skilled tradesmen. As part of the WCIS theme day programming, all related industrial businesses are encouraged to participate in this industrial networking event and can contact the speedway office or the Millwright Hall for more information.

Stock car racing at the BullRing officially moves back to Saturday evening entertainment in the spring of 2014 to accommodate the growing number of race teams and fans looking to make the Perry NY motorsport facility there entertainment home. Saturdays will allow for travelers from across the region, to casually gather without the rush of Friday traffic and work. Teams have traditionally come from Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, the southern tier and Pennsylvania to compete on the very fast 1/3rd mile oval. Opening day is set for Saturday May 24th at 7pm.                                                                                                   See ya at the races!
