PERRY, NY… Cool but sunny conditions welcomed fans from all over Western New York and Southern Ontario to the Bullring at Wyoming County International Speedway for the Insinger Race Fuels 100 for the SST Modifieds. The visiting Casey’s TQ Midget Series was also on hand besides the Super Stocks and 4 Cylinder Stocks.

Jimmy Zacharias and Dick Kluth led the field for the green and it was JZ out to the early lead. Zacharias would continue to hold the top spot but that was changed as Andy Jankowiak and Patrick Emerling were able to get around the Zacharias machine for the top two spots. A pair of cautions including a pile up in turn two involving Ed Schueler, Andy Lewis, Kevin Lewis and Jim Love with Kevin Lewis able to pull away from the scene. Love was sent pit side on the wrecker as Schueler and Andy Lewis went pit side under their own power.

PERRY, NY… Sunshine and blue skies set for perfect weather conditions on a late August afternoon in Wyoming County as The Bank of Castile presented the regular racing program at the Wyoming County International Speedway on Friday night. There was a 5000 Penny Pickup for the kids during intermission.  The rock music band Grind grinded out tunes at the end of the night during the post race festivities.

John Barber and Lexi Wilson would lead the field for the green flag and it was the defending WCIS track champion Barber out to the early race lead. Barber would set the pace behind the wheel of his familiar red 01 machine but the lead was short lived as Andy Jankowiak would take over at the head of the class.

The restart saw Jankowiak take off and had almost a full straightaway lead over the rest of the field but the yellow lights would come back on for Tim Hoegel who slowed on the back stretch. The following restart saw Andy J continue his fast pace with Barber, Wilson, John Julicher Jr. and Ed Schueler in fifth place when the green flag was re-displayed.
